The purpose of the Ladies Society is to support our church and Parish Council through volunteerism and fundraising. We try to uphold the history, traditions and customs of the Armenian Church and its people. Members are to cultivate Christian virtues of mutual love and cooperation toward one another and toward other organizations within the Parish. We welcome all ladies in our community with open arms. Many hands create quick work.
We lovingly provide Memorial Luncheons (Hokejash) and Mas for Badarak. The Ladies Society also has the responsibility for the beautification of the church altar by arranging for the altar flowers each week.
The Ladies Society helps plan, prepare, arrange, and/or cook for the following events during the year including the following: Armenian Christmas Bake Sale, Lenten Soup Dinners, Michink lunch and program, Palm Sunday and Easter Bake Sale, Genocide Commemoration, Hampartzoom Celebration, Annual Church Picnic & Grape Blessing.
